How to Calculate Your Total MCAT Score
If you want to work out your total MCAT score by hand, follow these five steps. The total is simply the sum of your four AAMC section scores.
- Find your Bio/Biochem score. Biological & Biochemical Foundations of Living Systems is scored 118-132. Example: 128.
- Find your Chem/Phys score. Chemical & Physical Foundations of Biological Systems is scored 118-132. Example: 127.
- Find your Psych/Soc score. Psychological, Social & Biological Foundations of Behavior is scored 118-132. Example: 128.
- Find your CARS score. Critical Analysis & Reasoning Skills is scored 118-132. Example: 127.
- Add the four section scores. Sum all four to get your total MCAT score (472-528). Example: 128 + 127 + 128 + 127 = 510.
